R. Bruce Warren
Bruce Warren received his undergraduate degree and Doctorate in Education from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Prior to attending law school, Bruce served as Dean of a local community college in Florida. He later obtained his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University in Tallahassee. During his career, Bruce has enjoyed the opportunity of representing many different people with diverse issues. He has sat as Municipal Court Judge and currently serves as counsel for Thomas County.
At Whitehurst, Blackburn & Warren, he concentrates his practice in Bankruptcy, Workman Compensation, Real Estate and Business Transactions.
He and his wife, Louisa, have four children, Summer, April, Amber, and Christopher. They are also the proud grandparents of six grandchildren.
William H. Blackburn
William H. Blackburn received his Juris Doctorate in 1974 from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Blackburn received his bachelor degree and MBA from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
At Whitehurst, Blackburn & Warren, he concentrates his practice in Divorce, Child Custody, and Workman Compensation as well as multiple other issues involving Real Estate transactions and business law.
Currently, Mr. Blackburn is a member of Rotary. He and his wife, Connie, have three children, Hunter, Courtney and Kelley. They are also the proud grandparents of four grandchildren.
Christopher K. Rodd
A native of Lee County Georgia, Chris Rodd received an Associates of Arts in Foreign Language with an emphasis in Spanish from Darton College in Albany. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. While in attendance, he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board and also received awards for best cross-examination, best team, best motions and overall winner of the trial advocacy competition. Chris was admitted to the Georgia Bar in May of 2007.
At Whitehurst, Blackburn & Warren, he concentrates his practice in Criminal Law and Personal Injury.
Currently, Chris is a member of the Kiwanis Club of Thomasville and serves on the Board of Directors. He is also a member and President of the Thomas County Bar Association. Chris also enjoys the outdoors, volunteering in his community, and spending time with family and friends. He and his wife, Amber, have three children, Kensley, Ella and Davis.
Joseph C. Cargile
Joe Cargile joined Whitehurst, Blackburn & Warren in 2015 after he received his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law. During law school, Joe was a recipient of multiple Dean Merit Scholarship Awards, an award for Most Outstanding Oral Advocacy, and served as President of the Georgia Bar Takers Association. He also gained valuable experience working closely with the Thomas County District Attorney’s Office and the legal department of a Fortune 250 company, CSX Corporation. These experiences allowed him to gain first hand knowledge of how the State of Georgia approaches the prosecution of a criminal case and how a major corporation may defend a personal injury lawsuit. At WBW, his areas of focus are in the arenas of Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Litigation.
Prior to attending law school, Joe received his Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University. Joe and his wife Brittany live in Thomasville, Georgia and are expecting their first child. He is professionally proficient in Spanish, enjoys travelling, spending time with family, and cheering on his Auburn Tigers.
